Our goal is to become a center for Jewish culture and learning with a diverse collection of Jewish books and media with subjects including Torah, education, spirituality, fiction, history and Rabbinics. The committee has invested several years creating a computer catalog of searchable covered and labeled books/media.  Through generous donations we have reorganized the library with labeled shelves and new furnishings. The library is most heavily used during Hebrew School and that’s when our Committee meetings take place.  We would like to increase Hebrew School programming, book and film discussions, collection development and our connection to other committees.  If you are interested in serving on this Committee or wish to comment on issues of interest to the committee please email Ellen Gittelsohn or call her at 657-3140.  Or, just stop by the library on Wednesday 4:00 to 6:00 and Sunday 9:30-12:00 when Hebrew School is in session.
