This Committee creates and maintains personnel policy and hiring procedures for the synagogue and ensures respectful, clear and timely communication between the Board and staff. This Committee is not responsible for issues related to the clergy.
We are all very excited in the recent hiring of Mike Kanarick, our new Executive Director. His responsibilities will be to manage the entire staff (other than the Clergy). He has been charged with organizing our finances as well as the entire operation of the Synagogue along with the Committees recently created by Our Board of Directors.
We
know how important each and every person is to the very foundation
of our synagogue. We appreciate that the staff transitions
may be very difficult. Our staff has often been referred to
as "like a family." The Board hopes the congregation will be patient and
supportive to Mike while he organizes the staff and the standing Committees. Email him or call him 864-0218 ex 26 to volunteer or just to introduce yourself. Please volunteer
